Describe your dream fitness vacation.
A running cruise? Yes please. Countless miles run in amazing, gorgeous locations and then refueling with unlimited food on a cruise ship. I’m sorry, how is this NOT a dream vacation?
This is not your typical cruise. Guests of the Caribbean Islands Marathon will enjoy a stage race marathon or half-marathon (1.2-13 miles – road, trail, & deck runs). Learn at seminars on running, racing, nutrition, strength training and more. Enjoy extensive interaction with The Penguin and Coach Jenny; numerous social events; dining with fellow Caribbean Islands Marathon cruisers; and a wonderful sense of sharing and camaraderie.
Distances for the Caribbean Island Marathon Cruise:
- St. Thomas: 10K – “Hilly Course”
- St. Kitts: 10K – “Hash Run/Walk”
- “Deck Race” aboard the Adventure of The Seas: 2K – “The Pirate’s Relay”
- Curacao: 8K – “Amazing Race”
- Aruba: 12K
The Great Alaskan Marathon Cruise is designed with every type of runner and walker in mind! You’ll actively explore the Last Frontier with your own two feet, and take on the challenge of racing in Juneau, Sitka, and Ketchikan in a unique staged marathon. Every event is well marked, safe and by the end of the week you’ll complete a marathon distance (26.2 miles) and earn a big honkin’ Penguin Medal!

- Deck Race aboard the Westerdam: 3 miles
- Juneau, AK: 10 mile Trail Race
- Sitka, AK: 10K Amazing Race
- Ketchikan, AK: 7 mile Trail Race
