Our movie queue is running a little low as of late. We just finished Act of Valor and have Contraband and Safe House waiting in the wings. After that? We’re fresh out of movies! I figured I’d share a few of my favorite movies with you guys, and you could share a few of your favorites with me. Hopefully we’ll all come away with a few new movies to watch!

I loooooved Boiler Room. Giovanni Ribisi is such a good cryer in that movie. haha
Alright, so my top 5 favorite movies have been the same forEVER. They never change because they are that awesome: When Harry Met Sally, Aliens, True Romance, Almost Famous, The Professional. And just for good measure, I’m gonna throw Tombstone in there.
Okay I thought for sure I’d be able to add The Professional to the list, but apparently Brad has already seen it. Damn it!
I see you are a Will Ferrell fan. I LOVE Anchorman.
Yes! He’s definitely a favorite
I hardly go to the theatre anymore just because movies are so expensive! It’s crazy how jacked up the prices are for everything!! Recenty I’ve been watching a lot of older Brittany Murphy movies like uptown girls and little black book! Happy Friday!’
and a Happy Friday to you!
Good choices, especially Boondock Saints! Crazy movie. Some of my favorites: Annie Hall, Match Point, Stranger Than Fiction, When Harry Met Sally and lately I’m digging The Hunger Games. Loved the books.
Thanks for recommendations, appreciate it!
Based on some of the movies you posted, I think you would like one of my favorites, if you haven’t already seen it — True Romance.
UMMMMMMM…. Confidence is one of my FAVORITE movies ever! SO UNDERRATED! LOVE YOUR LIST! Have you ever seen (alot of the same actors repeated on my list):
- Man on Fire
- John Q
- Traffic
- The Town
- Shutter Island
- Primal Fear
- The actual movie “The Usual Suspects”
-The Life of David Gale
- American Beauty
Definitely a lot of heavy movies in there. Lighter options:
- Serendipty
- Say Anything – Jerry Maguire
- The Sandlot <– classic.
- Keeping the Faith
Okay I’ve never met anyone who has even seen Confidence! That’s awesome.
Traffic is a GREAT movie! Haven’t seen it in years though, think I’ll need to add that one to the list. Also was a huge fan of The Town. That movie was done really well!
I love YOUR list, we like a lot of the same movies
I just saw a documentary last weekend that was awesome! It’s called Searching for Sugar Man, and the story is really incredible. Highly recommend checking it out!
I also loved The King’s Speech. But really, any Colin Firth movie is bound to be fantastic.
